1 SERVICE HOURS
The AVR is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday with no noon breaks. To avail of the AV center services, there is a need to make necessary reservation for the venue, for materials and equipment ahead of time for proper scheduling and early preparation.
2. CLIENTELE
The facilities and services of the AVR are offered to:
a. All currently enrolled learners in the school
b. All faculty and personnel of the school
c. The parents and members of the SMA Alumni Association
d. Former employees and visitors who wish to avail of the services of the AVR with proper permission from Administration
3. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
a. Reservation should be made three (3) days before their scheduled date of use. The use of the AV Room is on a first come, first served basis. Likewise, reservation for AV materials and equipment must be done at least three (3) days before its scheduled use.
b. Faculty and learners should counter-check their borrowed materials or equipment before leaving the center. Damaged or lost materials or equipment must be reported at once tothe AVR in-charge or AVR aide.
c. If an equipment is found damaged when returned, the last borrower will be considered liable.
d. Borrowers must notify the AVR in-charge immediately if the material or equipment does not function before it is released to them.
e. All borrowed materials/equipment should not be taken out of the school campus unless permission from the administration has been secured and has been granted.
f. Arrange preview schedules of audio-visual materials with AV in-charge anytime during office hours.
g. Eating, sleeping, littering and any form of vandalism are not allowed in the viewing room. The users will be held responsible for the facilities and equipment during the time of activities.
h. All borrowed materials and equipment must be returned on its due date or not later than 5:00. p.m. If the class schedule is beyond 5:00 pm, kindly inform the AV In-charge.
i. Inability to return materials and equipment on time shall result to suspension of the user's borrowing privileges.
4. USE OF VIEWING ROOM
a. Silence must be observed while viewing is in session.
b. The subject teacher should always be with the learners during viewing time.
c. The subject teacher should notify the person in-charge after viewing for checking all the materials used by class.
d. Always keep the viewing room in proper order.
e. Eating, littering and loitering are prohibited inside the viewing room.
